Biography

Lucia Lopez is an attorney and PhD Student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Houston. Previously, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University, magna cum laude. She is interested in studying state courts and state policy. While at the University of Houston, Lucia has served as a Research Assistant for Dr. Ryan Kennedy and Dr. Lydia Tiede and earned APSA’s Spring Diversity Fellowship.
